ANNUAL MEETING/ELECTION CONSIDERATIONS

- The Board of Directors and the members of the Nominations/Election Committee fully recognize the importance of conducting the Annual Meeting and Election process as detailed in Sections 3.2 Annual Meeting, 6.1 Nomination and Election of Directors and 6.2 Election, of the Association’s Bylaws and are exerting all efforts to reasonably schedule the events as soon as possible.
- Recognizing the importance that the Association Membership places in the Annual Meeting and Election process, as demonstrated by the very large attendance at past Annual Meetings and, Members, as dictated by Association Bylaw Section 6.2 (c), having the right to cast his/her vote ballot at the Annual Meeting, the Board of Directors and Nominations/Election Committee are committed to conducting the events in as similar past manner as possible. Virtual/Streaming of the Annual Meeting will be a last resort.
- Currently, COVID 19 government executive orders, directives and guidance proclamations cast doubt, that the scheduled May 7, 2020 date, for conducting the Annual Meeting and concluding the Election process, as to the ability of the process to take place. Both the Nominations/Election Committee and the Board of Directors are, daily, tracking governmental directives to determine when setting a date for both may be feasible.
- Important governmental actions, specific information pertaining to this process and any additional developments, pertaining to this subject matter, will be immediately shared with the Membership.
