UPDATE: DRC Applications & Permits
We have had a lot of confusion lately in regards to Permits for DRC Applications. I wanted to send out this announcement to offer some clarity in regards to this. If after reading this email, you have any questions, please reach out to the Staff at the Clubhouse.
Please be aware that we will NOT accept any DRC applications without a Permit. WE WILL NO LONGER BE RECEIVING PERMITS FROM OPA VIA EMAIL. This includes Permits for decks, patios, tree removal etc. In reference to tree removal permits, homeowners will need to be aware that once you request one from OPA, the tree inspector will come out to your home and do their inspection. They will then leave a green cardstock permit somewhere near the front door/porch. This permit needs to be attached to the DRC application when delivering it to the Clubhouse. Staff will then make a copy for our files and will give the homeowner the original permit back to display in their window. In reference to building permits such as decks, patios, etc, when requested, OPA will hand them to you that day. Tree applications are good for 30 days but an extension will be given if needed. Building permits (for decks, some patios, etc.) are good for six months.
Also, DRC Applications are due by 1:00pm on the Friday before the committee meeting. Please make sure your application is fully complete with all documents needed (proposals, pictures, colors, permits, etc.) prior to coming to the Clubhouse to turn in.
Thank you!
