Please be aware that some residents are noticing brown areas that are now visible on the lawns throughout the community. One reason may be due to the hot weather that causes the grass to go dormant as the plant roots are not getting enough moisture. When this happens, proper watering is required to get the lawn green again.
Also, when Comcast planted the grass seed on the areas that they disturbed during their infrastructure, they used a mixture of seed that included annual Rye grass. This type of grass will turn brown and die in hot weather, even if properly watered. The only solution is to reseed those areas with proper seed in September.
