New Scam-Holiday Season
The Post Office said there is a new scam in the area where people are submitting address changes online for addresses that are not their own. They submit the change of address online for a certain house and then that house all of the sudden stops receiving all of their mail, which is being sent (usually) overseas somewhere. Packages being delivered will go to the new change of address.
We suggest that if you abruptly stop receiving mail to please contact the Post Office and check to make sure a change of address form hasn’t been submitted for your address.
