Alert for Sandpiper Energy Customers
A resident that is a customer of Sandpiper Energy wanted to send out this announcement as a courtesy for those that may be impacted by this issue:
People who mail their Sandpiper Energy bills by snail mail to the company’s address in Philadelphia may have their check and envelope returned by the Post Office as undeliverable. Sandpiper Energy has no idea why the Post Office isn’t delivering customer’s payments to their payment Center in Philadelphia. The address hasn’t changed. There was a yellow sticker indicating “Return to Sender-Not deliverable as addressed– Unable to forward”. Sandpiper is encouraging their customers to pay their bills at Bank of Ocean City or by way of the EZ payment system until they can get the situation straightened out with the Post Office. There is no late fee being charged by Sandpiper because of all the complaints by customers. One might think it was an effort to compel people to pay their bills by EZ payments, but Sandpiper said that is not the case and it is a Post Office mistake that’s causing mail in payments to be sent back to the customers.
