Arts & Crafts
Jewelry – Jewelry making classes are occasionally offered at the Clubhouse. Advanced sign-up is required for these classes and beads and supplies are usually supplied in the class cost.
Knitting – An informal group gathers at the Clubhouse to complete knitting or crochet projects or to work on items for donation.
Parke Painters – An informal group of people who enjoy getting together weekly to paint in acrylics, watercolor, and other media. The members encourage everyone to
explore their own art expressions. Most participants are amateurs but all are
welcome to drop in or become part of the group.
Porcelain Painting – Advance sign up is required for these classes. There is a kiln located in the Arts and Crafts Studio; kiln usage is restricted to porcelain pieces only, fired by a trained person.
Quilting – Classes are geared to both beginners and experienced quilters. Classes
are usually about 3 hours long. Watch for announcements at the Clubhouse or Mail Pavilion.
Scrapbooking – Residents meet in the Arts and Crafts Studio to work on their photo albums.
